This is a description of what this website actually does. It covers atlasaudiotours.com only; each audio tour opens on its own site, which has its own notice.

What this site collects

Nothing that identifies you. There is no account, no sign-in, no advertising, and the site sets no cookies. There is no third-party analytics or tracking script: nothing on these pages talks to Google, Meta or an advertising network.

During the field test the site does count what happens on it, on its own servers: a page being viewed, the audio sample being played, a destination being chosen, the “near me” button being pressed, and a tour being opened. Each count records the page, the campaign code from a printed card if there was one, and the time — never your IP address, your device, or anything joining one visit to another. If you send the partner form, what you type in it goes to Atlas and is used only to reply.

Your email, if you choose to give it

The feedback form at the end of a tour has an optional box: “Want the next city first? Leave your email.” It is never needed to send feedback, and the “Yes, email me about new Atlas tours” box beside it is not ticked for you. We keep an address only if you tick that box.

• What: your email address, only if you give it, with the tour you were on, the card code if there was one, the date, and which wording you agreed to.
• Why: to tell you about new Atlas tours. Nothing else.
• Where: in our own Cloudflare database (EU/US data centres), in a separate table. It is never mixed into the page counts above, and never put in links or logs.
• Never sold or shared.
• Unsubscribe or delete: use Email us and we will remove it.

What stays on your phone

If you arrive from a printed card, the campaign code on the link — which says which card you scanned, nothing about you — is kept in your browser’s session storage for that visit and added to the tour link you tap. It is cleared when you close the tab. On the “Near me” page your device asks whether to share your location; if you allow it, the distances are worked out in your browser and the location is never sent to us.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard server request logs.

Links out

Tour links open the audio player on its own site and directions links open Google Maps. Those are separate services with their own terms and privacy notices.

Atlas is in field testing and this notice will be replaced by a full one before any paid product launches.
