Guinness and Thomas Street
One street, a hanged rebel and the world's most famous stout. On Thomas Street, Robert Emmet was executed outside St Catherine's Church in 1803. At its far end, Arthur Guinness signed a 9,000-year lease on the St James's Gate brewery in 1759. Churches, a distillery tower and old Dublin's main road lead you all the way to the Guinness Storehouse.
